Earned by spending at least one valid night in Harriman in each of the following three sleeping arrangements; an enclosed shelter (tent or enclosed hammock), official shelter (as listed in the requirements of the Pioneer), and 'exposed' (in a bivy or under the stars). For the purpose of this assignment, a night in the Cave Shelter may be counted either as 'exposed' or an official shelter, but not both.
There are many ways to camp. Some require less comfortability with the woods, some more. Completion of this assignment means a Harrimaniac has run the gamut of sleeping arrangements.
