Human Sacrifice

Awarded for completing a valid trip which required exceptional self-denial, self-sacrifice, and/or personal hitting of rock bottom. Human Sacrifice is awarded to honor a Harrimaniac who has had a truly exceptional near-life experience on one of our trips and came one step closer to Rock Bottom. To qualify, the recipient must experience a significant change in their view of their own limitations. Generally this means that he or she endured some manner of personal testing which pushed personal limits to the point of breaking and beyond.

The Human Sacrifice and Ashes of Heroes Awards are the most prestigeous the Harrimaniacs have to offer. The focus for this award is not how badly someone suffered, but rather how much that person allowed his or her experience to be a liberator that realigned their perception. This one is all about accepting and overcoming the challenge of adverse situations rather than running from them.

"Tomorrow will be the most beautiful day of Raymond K. Hessle's life. His breakfast will taste better than any meal you and I have ever had."
