Membership in a mileage club is earned for every valid hundred miles hiked (a 100-Mile Club member has hiked 100 miles, a 200-Mile Club member has hikes 200 miles, ect).
This homework represent a simple way to honor members who have distinguished themselves by accumulating quite a few miles on the trail. Each 'century mark' represents a new 'club' of elite hikers.
